View Past IssuesTigo Energy, Inc., the leading provider of Flex MLPE (Module Level Power Electronics) in the solar industry, will demonstrate the Tigo EI Residential Solar solution for the European market at the Key Energy exhibition in Rimini, Italy, unveiling. Launching first in the Czech Republic, Germany, and Italy, the new Solar Plus storage platform speeds up and simplifies design, installation, and service while offering European installers flexibility and more efficient energy management. Solar installers and PV professionals are invited to the official unveiling of the EI Residential Solar solution at Key Energy’s booth B7.163 on November 9th at 11:30 am.
The Tigo EI Residential Solar solution for the European market includes Tigo TS4 Flex MLPE products, a new line of single-phase and three-phase inverters, modular DC-coupled energy storage components, and the Tigo EI Link, which acts as a communication node and central connection point for all grid, inverter and, PV and battery connections. With module-level monitoring, energy data from the EI Residential storage system is processed using Tigo’s energy intelligence software, allowing installers to monitor and control their fleet of customer systems with just a few mouse clicks. Tigo customers in the EU also benefit from industry-leading warranties and a skilled, multilingual support team, so installers are never left to their own devices with Tigo products.
“The Tigo EI Residential system once again confirms Tigo as a dynamic company that evolves with the market,” said Cinzia Bardiani, Marketing Manager at Coenergia. “Tigo products have always been reliable and have allowed installers a lot of flexibility. This all-in-one platform is particularly compelling because it makes communication between the components of the entire system seamless. I am also extremely pleased that Tigo is the single point of contact for the entire system, from planning to installation to warranty.”
Tuscany-based solar installation company Cecconi snc, and Coenergia, a PV distributor with a fifteen-year presence in the Italian market, installed the first EI Residential system in Italy. The system offers a solar energy production of 15 kW and an energy storage capacity of 12 kWh.
“To provide my customers with services and upgrades, I need a reliable system that speeds up operations and tracks performance at the module level, and that’s exactly what Tigo delivers with the EI Solar Plus storage system,” said Massimo Cecconi, Technical Director, and CEO at Cecconi snc. “Tigo’s stackable configuration and flexible handling made this system particularly easy to install. I especially liked the wired EI-Link box because it centralizes all connections in one place, as well as a clear connection diagram on the security cover. Tigo thinks of the powerful combination between the end customer and the installer.”
Visitors to the Key Energy show will have access to Tigo’s executives and technical experts, including the installer who performed the first installation of an EI Residential solution in Italy. After the show, Tigo’s Residential Solar Plus storage solution will be showcased at several informational events across Italy in November and December. Dates and locations of the events will be announced at the fair.
“With the EI Residential Solar Solution, Tigo now offers the European market a comprehensive home energy solution that delivers the unique value our products are known for, with the simplicity that empowers our installation partners,” said Mirko Bindi, Senior Vice President of Sales EMEA, and MD Europe at Tigo Energy. “I am particularly looking forward to working with the teams at Coenergia and Cecconi to install the first system in Europe. Both companies are outstanding partners making valuable contributions to the entire Tigo solar value chain in Europe, especially towards the end customers that we all share.”
