Atlas Copco Acquired Canadian Provider of Service & Maintenance of Medical Gas Systems

Atlas Copco has acquired the operating assets of MedCore Services Inc., a medical gas service provider in the Province of Ontario, Canada.

MedCore Services Inc. was founded in 2010 and is based in Toronto, Canada. The company has 7 employees and had revenue of approximately 1.5 MCAD in 2021.

The company services piped medical gas equipment, including medical air systems, vacuum systems, and pipeline equipment. Customers are public healthcare and private clinics in Canada.

“MedCore Services Inc. is a respected company with an experienced service team,” said Vagner Rego, Business Area President of Compressor Technique. “The acquisition will enable us to further strengthen our position as a leading service supplier of medical gas solutions in this key region in Canada.”

The purchase price is not disclosed.

The acquired business will become part of the Medical Gas Solutions Division within the Compressor Technique Business Area.
