Investors Bullish on eVTOLs: Pilots Crucial for Public Confidence, Horizon Aircraft Unveils Game-Changer

In the ever-evolving realm of electric Vertical Takeoff and Landing (eVTOL) aircraft, a groundbreaking revelation has emerged – pilots are the linchpin for soaring public confidence. According to a comprehensive global study conducted by Horizon Aircraft, investors worldwide anticipate a surge in support for eVTOLs, attributing this optimism to the industry’s unwavering focus on qualified pilots.

Investors Predict a Skyward Surge in Confidence

Investors in Japan, the US, Canada, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia are riding the wave of optimism, with a staggering 73% anticipating a growth in public support for eVTOLs over the next three years. Even more captivating, 15% foresee a dramatic surge in confidence as the eVTOL industry gains momentum.

Contrary to skeptics, a mere 6% of private equity, venture capital, and family office investors believe public confidence will decline as the launch of eVTOL services inches closer to reality. Approximately 22% foresee no significant change in public confidence, or they have yet to express an opinion on the matter.

Pilots: The Pinnacle of Public Confidence

Horizon’s research delves into the minds of senior executives managing over $1.787 trillion in assets under management, revealing that 76% of them identify qualified pilots as the linchpin to boosting public confidence. These financial maestros firmly believe that having skilled aviators at the helm is the key to allaying concerns and garnering unwavering trust from potential passengers.

    Horizon Aircraft’s Vision: Cavorite X7

At the forefront of this revolution is Horizon Aircraft, the driving force behind the future production of the Cavorite X7 – a manned seven-seat capacity hybrid-electric eVTOL. Unveiled to meet the demands of customers in medevac, business aviation, and commercial cargo sectors, the Cavorite X7 is poised to redefine the eVTOL landscape.

Brandon Robinson, the dynamic CEO of Horizon Aircraft, emphasizes, “Potential customers and passengers need to be confident that eVTOLs will be safe and have business use for investors to support the sector, and the study shows there is growing confidence.”

A Glimpse into the Cavorite X7

The Cavorite X7 boasts a gross weight of approximately 5,500 lbs and a projected useful load of 1,500 lbs. With a maximum speed of 250 miles per hour and an impressive average range of over 500 miles, Horizon envisions this hybrid electric aircraft excelling in medical evacuation, critical supply delivery, disaster relief, and special military missions. The company also believes it’s an ideal candidate for Regional Air Mobility, facilitating the movement of people and cargo within the 50 to 500-mile range.

What sets the Cavorite X7 apart is its innovative hybrid electric power system. Unlike its counterparts, it can recharge its batteries en route in a configuration resembling a traditional aircraft. After a vertical landing and mission completion, the Cavorite X7 is designed to recharge its battery array in under 30 minutes, preparing for its next mission.

Horizon is confident that its unique approach will allow the Cavorite X7 to spend 98% of its mission time in a low-drag configuration similar to traditional aircraft, making it not only safer but also easier to certify than other radical eVTOL designs.

    Embracing the Future with Confidence

As Horizon Aircraft continues testing its 50%-scale aircraft to reduce technical risks, the world watches with bated breath as the eVTOL landscape undergoes a transformative shift. Investors, industry experts, and aviation enthusiasts alike are aligning their hopes with the belief that qualified pilots are the catalyst for a confident and secure eVTOL future.
