View Past IssuesThe oil, gas, and energy industry’s unique shipping requirements demand just-in-time service from transportation and logistics companies. The pressure is immense: only those companies prepared to rise to the occasion can excel.
By investing heavily in technology, equipment and, most importantly, their personnel, Keltic has positioned itself to tackle logistical challenges and help their clients avoid costly delays.
Thanks to their partnership with an international freight forwarder, they now offer global transportation services and customs clearances.
Combining international transportation services with the best of the trucking industry, the Keltic experience is truly unique within the transportation sector. The company owns its own fleet of modern tractors and trailers, which enables them to provide service guarantees unmatched by any other organisation. This is why freight forwarders and oil and gas supply companies across the world rely on them for time-sensitive services.
The company offers full truckload and expedited LTL services between Newfoundland and primary oil and gas markets including, but not limited to, Alberta, Louisiana, and Texas. These offerings, combined with their international air and ocean services, ensure operational control throughout the complete transportation process, virtually eliminating unexpected issues and delays.
Keltic is part of the World Cargo Alliance (WCA) Network, which has over 5000 members in over 190 Countries worldwide. All WCA members go through a rigorous application process, including financial and operational stability checks, and must carry proper freight forwarder liability insurance for all international transactions. They are also a proud member of the Canadian International Freight Forwarding Association (CIFFA). They are bonded, certified for hazardous materials, and hold CT-PAT, FAST, PIP, and SmartWay designations.
In addition to transportation services, Keltic is now offering warehousing services at their Lewisporte, Newfoundland, facility. Boasting over 110,000 square feet of heated indoor storage space, the warehouse is fully-equipped to meet storage requirements for any product, from small boxes to 75 000-pound transformers. The secured and monitored facility has 25-foot ceilings, plus a three-tier racking option if required. The warehouse offers 24/7 access, 12 loading docks, and a 16-foot-wide door at grade level. WHMIS-trained personnel are on-site and ready to provide standard forklift, heavy forklift, and crane unloading services.
Noel Mullins, President and CEO, says, from the outset, refrigeration freight comprised 100% of business activity, gradually expanding into all phases of the industry and equipment type. With our head office in Moncton, NB, Keltic has now opened logistics offices in: Dartmouth, NS, Oakville, ON and Mount Pearl, NL.
In today’s market, clients require a one-call solution to all their transportation needs and logistical concerns. Keltic is well-equipped to expedite services in ground transportation; air freight, charters, and cargo; trade show logistics; tractor trailer jobs; five-ton and cargo vans and even automobiles – we can handle it all.
