View Past IssuesWhat really fuels the world is not energy, it’s how we THINK about energy. We don’t need more fuel; we need more thinkers—people who are willing to go past the day-to-day realities and dare to dream of an entirely new future. That’s not such a crazy concept; in fact, it’s what we’ve been doing all along. It’s how we have moved from fire to industry, from industry to the computer era, and now into a whole new communications era in a global economy.
What’s possible today in this global economy is the opportunity of uniting amazing minds, partnering with creative geniuses, and finding answers and solutions in faster and quicker ways. It’s no longer a matter of are they out there? It’s more like, how do we find them out there? Those are the questions of the day.
Who are these new energy thinkers, and where are they in the world? The answer is everywhere. Right here at home, there’s a person on the brink of a new sustainable solution. In your backyard, there’s a boy tinkering with a new form of energy. Recently, I watched a TED TALK video of a 17-year-old nuclear physicist, who has dreams for energy creation in whole new ways with nuclear fusion. Without a doubt, we live in amazing times. Innovation will always trump limiting resources. It always has, and it always will.
Throughout the pages of THE OGM, we are praising the misfits, celebrating the innovators, aligning with the freaks, and embracing the rule-breakers. If those qualities remotely sound like you and your vision for a sustainable future, then we want to hear from you.
The OGM is on a mission to publish amazing stories. Stories that inspire us to find solutions for a sustainable new energy world. We want to celebrate the game changers and visionaries who make a difference in ways that change the way the future will happen. We want to profile those who see opportunity where the world sees none.
They say that those who cannot hear the music believe that those dancing are crazy. We fully understand that concept, and we plan to celebrate the dancers and make that music louder than life itself!
