OUR GREAT MINDS

Double Your Income and Take Twice as Much Time Off

A combination lock is comprised of a set of actions that when done in order produce a predictable result–put in the combination and voila, the lock opens. Combination locks are a system that, always and every time, produce a predictable result.

Our world thrives on systems. A recipe is a system. Cars run on systems. Factories work on systems. Assembly lines are systems. The Industrial Revolution was based on systems. Our energy industry is built on systems.

When you take a close look at it, the world is architected with systems. The degree to which life works is in direct proportion to the the systems we architect and execute.

So being successful in life doesn’t have anything to do with where you are from, what you do for a living, your IQ, your past, your geography, your sex, or your age – it’s a matter of KNOWING THE COMBINATION to the lock. It’s about following a system that works time and time again. It’s your job to take the actions that is required in your system and follow through until the desired result comes to fruition. Yes, it is that simple.

Jack Canfield, entrepreneurial multimillionaire, world-renowned author, and Guinness Book of World Record Holder for the most publications sold, has compiled his research and experience into one book The Success Principles.

Jack says that following this book is a system that will create results and ultimately allow you to double your income and take twice as much time off, in three years or less. Sound like a good idea? We thought so.

While the book holds 64 principles, Jack has condensed the core essence and necessary building blocks for making success happen in 10 easy concepts. Here they are:

You Are The Only One That Can Do This.

While we become expert delegators the more we climb up the corporate ladder; however, we can’t rely on that to make these principles work. These principles will not work with delegation. These principles are like going to the gym – you must build your own success muscle. You can’t get someone else to meditate for you to get to a higher consciousness. You can’t get someone else to make you healthy.

Take 100 Percent Responsibility For Everything.

You have to give up all blaming, all complaining, all excuses, all justifications, all rationalizations. You have to take 100 percent responsibility (ABLE TO RESPOND) for all that is before you. Challenges become the opportunity for solutions and creativity. You and only you can get yourself up, over, and through to the outcome you desire. When you do this, you hold all the power to make change. Anything less than this and you a have given up the opportunity to have it happen. In other words, you have given up the power to an outside source.

    E + R = 0

Events + Response = Outcome. For the events in your life, you have a response to them and that creates a particular outcome. Let’s take for example that you get $500 and you invest it and make interest. That’s an outcome you would desire – money with interest. Say for example that someone gave you some negative feedback. Let’s say, someone said “your desk and your work are really disorganized.” You could respond, “I’m so offended,” or you could respond, “wow, thanks for that, what would being fully organized look like?”

Each response has a different outcome. Success comes by embracing the event and responding in a way that gets you the outcome you’re looking for. Whatever happens, happens. The world is out there worlding. It’s not personal. BUT…your response to the world is personal.

    Get Comfortable Being Uncomfortable

Most people don’t enjoy doing new things because they don’t like getting uncomfortable. But success means taking a risk, getting uncomfortable, and embracing what’s new, what’s different, and what’s uncertain. Your job is to get comfortable with being uncomfortable. It’s a state you need to enter into, on an ongoing basis. When you think about it, all the progress you have made in life came from moving through what’s uncomfortable.

You Only Control 3 Things In Life: Behavior, Thoughts, Images In Your Head

Life doesn’t allow you to have control over the things outside of you. But there are three things you are in total control of. Your behavior, your thoughts, and the images you hold in your head.

When you focus on what’s negative, it has a negative effect on you. When you entertain negative naysayers, it can affect you. When you engage in hurtful actions or substances, they have a negative effect on you.

Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t – you are right. In other words whatever you think and believe is what ends up in your results. Focusing on what’s possible, the solutions, the answer, and the passionate outcome will get you there. Your clear intentions, your determination and will, have the power and energy to take you through any challenge. Knowing you will get there and it’s possible – is key.

    Play The Game

Your results may not come instantly. But they will come. Your job is to get on the court and play the game full out. You have to have a vision, a mission, and a goal, and you have to EXPECT to get there, no matter what. Set measurable goals.

We’ve all heard about the law of attraction – we know that when we intentionally want to get there, we will get there. When our intention is pure and powerful and we truly want to attain that goal – then we will attract to us the circumstances that will align with that goal. Hold the expectancy. Like attracts like. Dream as BIG as you want. Big dreams attract big people. If you can dream it, you can do it.

Leave out the doubts, buts, and what if’s. Surround yourself with dynamic positive, authentic, and encouraging people. Hang out with people who are at the next level up, of where you want to be. Get in their space. Learn how they think and what they do.

Success Means Having It All – Design Your 7 Life Goals

    Financial goals
    Business and career goals
    Fun time and recreation goals
    Health and fitness goals
Relationship goal – what do your ideal relationships look like?
Personal goals – things you want to do because you want to do them
Contribution and Legacy – What are you leaving behind?

Success in all of these areas – would create balance and fulfillment.
These things come from looking 5-6 years out,

    Create A Quantum Leap Goal

Set a goal that will produce a quantum leap. It might be a massive line of credit to build your dream. It might be to have your own show. It may be to partner with a world leader in your sector. It may be to bring in a celebrity appeal. It may be to create a massive contribution.

Engage in the rule of 5 – do 5 things a day that will make that happen.
Write your goal on your bus card and every day do 5 things toward making it happen. For example – send your product out to 5 potential buyers a day.

    Get Specific With Your Goal

When you go on a trip and call a travel agent what’s the first thing you have to tell them. Where you want to go and when. Your brain works the exact same way. You have to tell it where to go and by when you want to get there. On March 23rd, I will be in the best shape of my life. On June 6th, I will have my first $5 million contract.

People who do great things are called visionaries. They become that because they “VISUALIZE” their desired outcomes. Do that every morning and every evening. Visualize your specific goal and by when. Visualizing the outcome, engaging your intention, and focusing your actions will align to the specifics of your goal, and you will get the result.

Do this for a minimum of 30 days – that means current, uninterrupted, everyday, visualization of what you want and where you are going. Hold that in your mind for about 10 minutes a day. Read them, see it happening and cycle through your goals, and you will get a perceptual shift. Your creativity will expand. Your solutions will start coming. Your motivation will be sparked.

    You Must Take Massive Action

When you start visualizing your goal, you will get inspiration to act. You MUST act on them. The world is an endless wealth of abundance. It’s all available. Taking action and assessing it – did it work? Ask for and respond to feedback. Create an action plan based on concerns and feedback.

Not asking for feedback is because we are afraid of the answer. They are afraid of rejection. They are afraid of judgement or criticism. You must absolutely know if people are satisfied with your product or service. You must ask and know how it’s going. You must persevere in the midst of all the feedback.

Thank everyone for coming – it’s my passion to share transformation with you.
The Intention is to raise the experience of life – to bring it energy, vitality, and extraordinary results – through self-awareness and an understanding of what makes life work.
Leadership at the level of every person.

With her pioneering spirit, Ms. Olivero developed a magazine that would educate, inspire, motivate and entertain oil and gas readers around the world — She prides herself in marketing and promoting our province and resources in unprecedented ways.
